For the past few weeks, the Holy Spirit has been impressing strongly on my heart, the need to pray for the Church and for God’s people at large…

Like Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 2, that prayers, intercessions and supplications be lifted for all men and all those in authority, I differ to say, this scripture, biblical and spiritual instruction has been out of view and out of place, and perhaps out of sight as well.

Its the Church that has the power, authority and audacity to control occurrences in the earth realm because we have the name of Jesus, where mentioning this name of Jesus provokes and incites every knee to bow to the Lordship of Christ, even though Satan is the god of the world…he bows to us when we invoke the name of JESUS!

The devil is up to something! The Kingdom of darkness is on the run to deceive the many.. Even those in the fold of Christ!  And is raising specially demonically anointed men and women to carry this evil agenda and make it happen right before our eyes! These men and women have found their way into the church of Christ, and are secretly leading many to hell- directing them to his lovely bosom.

Now, let me ask you some questions, do you think bearing the marks of Christ is a joke? Or affirming and accepting Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour is some sort of a joke? Do you know you’re the Light of the World and you need to stay in fellowship with Jesus always so your light does not grow dim? Do you know your light can grow dim? Do you think it was a lie when John wrote in John 1, that light shines and darkness comprehends it not?

And that until you shine, the world will be in darkness? And whatever arrow the enemy throws at you will hit you right on the spot? Or you think there’s nothing like a spiritual realm hidden from the eyes of men? Ponder on these!

But I thought the Church was and is responsible for taking care of the sheepfold of Christ? Many believers have so many headaches and heartaches caused by life, they have so many questions that need to be answered, so many desires and needs that must be met and so many hopes that must be kept alive.. What’s the Church doing concerning that?

In the book of Nehemiah, we see Nehemiah carrying the desire to rebuild the broken walls of Jerusalem. When the walls of a city are broken down or even develop loopholes, the enemies of that city invade and use this opportunity to attack secretly or openly.. Without an iota of doubt, I must say the Church has developed loopholes and it’s walls are gradually breaking down. The Kingdom of darkness are gradually invading the Church and deceiving the sheepfold! The watchmen are asleep and their torches are dim and can’t spot intruders from afar off from the Church’s lighthouse.
Answers and needs of people haven’t been met because the sheepfold haven’t been taught how to seek God for themselves, they have been lazy, ignorant and insensitive to Spirit, they are seeking other things instead of the Kingdom forgetting that ALL THINGS will be added unto them once they seek the Kingdom fully!  People are going to so many demonic places to receive answers to their daring needs… Where’s the Church?

Oh! Church, Arise from thy slumber and go back to the days of old!

  • What is evangelism?
  • How must evangelism be undertaken?
  • What must be the requirements for the bearer of the Gospel to evangelize?
  • What should be the motive of and for evangelism?

In our generation and time, the issue of evangelism has been redefined by many Christians with the motive of filling and increasing their church capacity other than the motive of the scriptures regarding the subject of evangelism… It’s been redefined the other way,”unscripturally ” or better still it’s been redefined to fit the trends of society (in the Church arena)

This is what Jesus said when He sent the twelve disciples to the Gentiles,

Matthew 10:5-14 KJV

These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: [6] But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. [7] And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. [8] Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. [9] Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, [10] Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat. [11] And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. [12] And when ye come into an house, salute it. [13] And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. [14] And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

Check vrs 6.. Jesus asked them to go to the LOST SHEEP of the house of Israel…That means Jesus gave them a specific audience or people to introduce truth to them…The Truth is of more benefit to the lost than the saved. Note also that, Jesus told them in the later part of the scripture above, to respect the views of them who will not hear the gospel that will be preached to them.. He’s given us a will to choose between death and life you know, His word doesn’t change! In our time, this must be same in the field of evangelism.. Speak the Gospel to them and leave the rest for the HolySpirit to do. Don’t compel them! Allow the HolySpirit touch their hearts.

However, in our generation we find Christians compelling the unsaved to accept the Gospel, leaving the HolySpirit out of the box.

I know some people reading this post will say the master asked the servant to compel people from everywhere to attend the banquet in the Parable of the Banquet in Luke 14.

Luke 14:21-23 KJV
So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his people, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. [22] And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. [23] And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

Compellability must be done with the instruction of the Spirit or else it will yield no fruit.. Remember, we are coworkers with Christ.. So in the field of evangelism, Christ Jesus leads the way and you follow. You must dive in deep into your spirit to catch the signals that He points out to you such as whether to compel or not during evangelism. Even in the scripture, the Master mentioned specific people who need to be compelled. He chose, the poor, maimed, halt and blind. If I’m neither of these, why would you want to apply the principle of being compelled to join the kingdom to God to me during evangelism?

The motive of and for evangelism should be marketing Jesus and the Kingdom and not your church or Pastor. That’s totally wrong! Market Christ and then you can invite the unsaved over to your church, not compelling them to join your church without their agreement to that request. Don’t use evangelism as a camouflage to broadcast your church other than Jesus!

My heart skipped a moment!!!

I looked again and again and again – three consecutive times did I look into the mirror before me.

I was surprised as Miss Surprise.

I never looked like what the HolySpirit told me. Did I?

I never looked like that image of God glorified, sanctified and anointed for a manifestation or whatever next He could have said. Did I?

Wait!! Did He lie to me or perhaps he just unveiled the truth to me?

That hidden truth about who I am?

That hidden truth about who Abba had made me?

That hidden truth my soul’s being longing for as the deer, longing for the waters.?

I thought so loudly as the war drums beaten before an assembly of soldiers readily prepared for the Red-rider, the artifacts in my room couldn’t help but dance along in joy. What could this be?

I knew the HolySpirit wasn’t a liar. I knew He is my helper. I had to battle with my sentiments and wimps

Finally, I accepted the reality of the illumination I had received from the HolySpirit.

I came into conclusion,

That I may not look like it

But I am it.

The I AM had spoken.

Low self-esteem had consumed me from the inside out. I guess I was enchanted by the magic of a low self-esteem, until I found out the carnage it was causing me.

A prematured carnage indeed!

Thank God that I’m freed as a bird out of the snare of the Fowler,

I am who God says I am,

I am what He says I am, and

I can do what He says I can do!
It’s a no more to a low self-esteem

I looked into the mirror

Beholding the appearance of a reproduction of my cuerpo.

She smiled wickedly as it seemed and asked me, ” Who are You?”

I stood with eyes opened wide as an owl approached fast with death,

Threw back the question to her fiercely, “ Who are You too?”. She was muted instantaneously.

I stood before my reproduced cuerpo wondering the conversation we had initially.

Mmmmm….But I thought I knew who I was.

But I thought I was that dark coloured fine lady with those flappy ears and the seemingly small ears.

The Lady all glorious in her shell with those thick lips and her body shaped as the roses in the fields of the Bulgarian Rose Valley

But I thought that was me until the reproduction of my cuerpo smiled again, this time around she got me in the waters of curiosity.

She asked, ” Who are You?”

What the heck do you mean? I wondered. I stood with my jaw opened wide, trying to assimilate the meal of question  she placed before me.

Then I heard a voice embalmed in a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, cool my troubled spirit. The sound echoed deeply in my spirit as the depth the oceans thundered with a tsunami. I felt refreshed

I went back in awe, astounded with an illumination and an in depth understanding about my personality.

“You are the image of God glorified, sanctified and anointed for a divine manifestation on earth. You can’t fail us”. The voice said.

What could be this voice? I pondered in my heart. I knew imminently that it was the Sweet HolySpirit.
